Lindsay Zerfas joined the Blankenship Law Firm to further her passion for employment law and civil rights work. She is committed to client-centered advocacy at every stage of representation, and enjoys helping clients fight discrimination, harassment, other forms of workplace inequities, and civil rights violations.
Prior to joining the firm, Lindsay served as a public defender, representing both adults and juveniles in more than 400 cases. Her unique role gave her both criminal and civil litigation experience, and she has successfully argued numerous motions, jury trials, and bench trials. Lindsay has appeared in Washington’s State and Federal Courts.
Before attending the University of Minnesota Law School, Lindsay graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University with a B.A. in Philosophy and Religion. While in law school, Lindsay was on the International Moot Court team, worked in the Civil Litigation, Family Law, and Child Advocacy clinics, and helped author a writ of certiorari to the United States Supreme Court. She received an award for Outstanding Lawyering.
