ERICA BRUNETTEParalegal Erica graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a minor in Law, Societies, and Justice. She earned her Advanced Paralegal Certificate from Edmonds Community College. Erica has previously worked as a teaching assistant at a private school and as a paralegal at a law firm. As a paralegal, she has worked in the areas of Personal Injury and other general Civil Litigation. In her free time, Erica enjoys watching movies, camping, hiking, and traveling. GREG ROTHParalegal Greg is a seasoned paralegal and investigator. Greg received his bachelor’s degree and a fifth year teaching certification at Arizona State University. He taught high school and college Spanish in California, Arizona, and Washington. Greg was also an Artillery Surveyor in the Army National Guard. In the Puget Sound area, he earned post-grad certificates in English at Seattle University and the Paralegal-plus program at ABA-approved Highline Community College. Before joining The Blankenship Law Firm, Greg worked at a personal injury firm in Kent, WA. He is fluent in Spanish, and he enjoys scuba diving, sailing, mountaineering, and tennis. ANNA K. MACINNESParalegal A Seattle native, Anna grew up in Capitol Hill and graduated from Seattle Academy of the Arts and Sciences. Anna inherited her love of the law from her mother, who is a retired King County Superior Court Judge. Anna began her career as a paralegal in early 2002 and is a seasoned trial paralegal. She currently focuses on personal injury, medical malpractice, employment law and complex civil litigation. Anna is an all around sports fanatic and is always eager to attend Seahawks, Sounders and Mariners games. When Anna isn't watching sports, she loves spending quality time with her friends and family, scuba diving, traveling, singing, dancing, and going to the local dog parks with her two Boston Terriers, Roscoe and Misses. With her remaining "spare time," Anna volunteers as a dog walker at PAWS (Progressive Animal Welfare Society) in Lynnwood and as an adoption counselor and cat socializer with Purrfect Pals of Arlington, the world's largest cat-only adoption organization and sanctuary. KRISTINA KHALEGHILegal Clerk Kristina graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in International Studies and a minor in Human Rights. She assists with a wide variety of administrative tasks at the firm, including file and document organization, drafting correspondence, maintaining the firm website, and assisting in marketing. Kristina is currently enrolled in her first year at the University of Washington School of Law. In her free time Kristina enjoys playing piano, traveling and spending time with friends and family. ALEX MONTGOMERYLegal Clerk Alex graduated magna cum laude from Seattle University with a degree in Philosophy and a minor in Spanish. Alex’s duties include document management, preparation of pleadings and discovery, interfacing with clients and technical support. He is currently enrolled in his first year at Seattle University School of Law. In his free time Alex enjoys playing sports, music, and spending time with friends and family. MARTHA REDMON, J.D.Legal Assistant Martha graduated from Tulane University with a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and earned her law degree from Tulane University in 1991. Prior to joining The Blankenship Law Firm to assist primarily in administration, Martha was a licensed and practicing attorney in Louisiana who, among other things, successfully argued appeals before the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Martha joined The Blankenship Law Firm after she and her son relocated to Seattle following Hurricane Katrina. When she is not working, Martha enjoys raising her son and watching him play sports. RILEY BENGELegal Assistant Riley graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Political Science with a pre-law option. He assists the firm with various administrative tasks and duties, including document filing and organization, drafting correspondence, and assisting with marketing and website development. Riley values community service and was an active volunteer with the City of Pullman Parks and Recreation during his time at Washington State. Riley plans to continue his education in law school and in his free time enjoys the outdoors, playing sports and spending time with friends and family. JULI BLANKENSHIPController Juli has worked for The Blankenship Law Firm as both a managing paralegal and an administrative and financial executive, for most of the last 15 years, and enjoys her multi-faceted role in helping the firm run smoothly. She earned her B.A. degree at the University of Washington in Art History, and loves traveling, gardening, scuba diving, independent films and playing tennis.
DEBBIE TURNERFirm Administrator Debbie received her bachelor's degree in Society and Justice, and received her Teacher Certification and master's degree in Education from the University of Washington. She has previously worked as a paralegal in several law firms in the areas of civil litigation. She has been a teacher in both Edmonds and Shoreline School Districts. Most recently, Debbie worked as a paralegal and controller for a small law firm where she was responsible for both paralegal and bookkeeping/accounting responsibilities. In her free time, she enjoys boating, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
