The Blankenship Law Firm, located in Downtown Seattle, Washington, is a premier Northwest litigation firm established in 1993, with attorneys practicing in Washington and Oregon. Since the time of establishment, the firm's attorneys have handled a wide variety of employment, civil rights, personal injury, medical and dental malpractice, and nursing home negligence cases, including class actions. Our dedication to excellence in our practice and to justice resulted in a judgment for race discrimination in excess of $3.5 million, which was upheld on all counts by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in August 2003. The United States Supreme Court declined defendants' efforts to have the opinion reviewed and overturned.
In 2005, this case was selected by the National Employment Lawyers Association as one of five cases that made a pivotal difference over the last 20 years in the evolution of employee rights. Our client was honored with the title, "Workplace Warrior" and asked to appear with Scott Blankenship at NELA's 2005 Annual Convention to celebrate its 20th Anniversary. As a firm, this was one of our proudest moments.
The firm has received the highest rating in Martindale-Hubbell's National Law Directory. Only a small percentage of lawyers achieve AV rating, the "A" signifying preeminent knowledge of the law and ability, and the "V" signifying very high ethics.
